DSO Store closing sale

Hi all,

Sorry been mia for awhile, we’ve just returned from a little holiday in the bushveld, and i have some snappies to show you too lol!!

It was a wonderful getaway, we stayed at Sondela in Bela Bela (Warmbaths), true african bushveld, the resort is lovely and we even had tame bokkies come to our cottages to look for food, they even knew the humans eating patterns lol, breakfast, lunch and dinner they would appear, here is a bokkie giving Caden a good sniff hello:

Caden and bokkie

Caden and bokkie feed

Caden and friends

She had such fun with them and especially loved the little one’s!

Every morning they milk the cows early so we took her one morning to go have a look but nope she wanted to have a go lol!! Here she is being shown the ropes by Edmond:

and she had a solo try but somehow the milk just didnt want to come out lolCaden solo milk

and her favourite treat was to ride Smirnoff:Caden and pony

A bit of sad news now, im sure most of you have heard that the stores at DSO are closing, mine too sniff sniff, thank you Bunny for everything that you have taught and shown me, I cannot express my gratitude enough. It has been a home like no other and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

I will let you know where I end up as soon as I have found a new home to open my store again. Both sis Kim B and I are having our DSO Closing Store sales, 55% off our whole stores, valid until 31st October 2010.

Good Morning Gaye:)
Awww...Caden looks so cute and I love seeing her milk the cow!!:)My Dad use to let us kids do that when we would visit his family farm.He would even let us ride the cows out to the pasture...with him leading the cow.LOL
Sounds like you had a wonderful trip and isn't it funny that the animals knew when the meals were?:)
So sorry to hear that DSO is closing.I know that has to be sad for you...but wherever you go next has a wonderful surprise in store for them..cause they will be getting a prized possession..YOU!!:)
Have a wonderful day!!
Huge hugs,

Good morning again Gaye:)
Thanks so much for stopping in again.:)
Yes..we heard back about the results for Jim's Dad's bypass. Thanks so much for asking about him.:) His heart is too weak and I guess they gave him a 50/50 chance that he wouldn't make it through the operation.Dad has opted to let it go and live the rest of his life as he is able. That doesn't mean that if he has another attack..they can't do another stint or clear out an artery.Problem is..his arteries are weak too. They collapse suddenly sometimes..like when you suck on a straw...KWIM? So..they go in and put a stint in that spot to help keep it open.I imagine it's just a matter of time..that they won't be able to do any more.He is 78 yrs old..so has had a good long life... so..if he doesn't make it.. we WILL see him again in Glory!!:)
Thanks so much for your concern.:)

Have a fantastic day!!Rest from your trip.I sometimes think we need a vacation..from our vacations.LOL

Huge hugs,
Valinda
